(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The two-day international conference on the Holy Quds started Tuesday with the attendance of 15 countries in Damascus.
The event has been organized by Awqaf Ministry of Syria and Iranian bodies.
250 scholars from Egypt, Indonesia, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, India and Iran attended the conference.
Supreme Leader Advisor for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati, Secretary-General of World Assembly for proximity of Islamic Religions Ayatollah Mohsen Araki and Secretary-General of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly Mohammad Hassan Akhtari are special guests of the conference.
Participants review ways of reinforcing unity among Islamic scholars.
